Wachau apricots are a true rarity this year!
Hans Staud is concerned: Due to very wet cold spring weather, we expect only a small harvest of first-class fruit and vegetables this summer. Stefan Schauer has therefore already reserved all the apricots from his Venusberg Orchard in the Wachau (picture) for Staud´s "limited" preserves. If the weather gods are good to us, we hope to offer a few of these lusciously-fresh and rare apricots in July, depending on the harvest time, in Staud's Pavilion, Brunnenmarkt.
