Children's Business Week

The Children´s  Business Week in Vienna gives children the opportunity to immerge in the world of business and experience entrepreneur backgrounds first-hand. One week long during the summer holidays the space of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce is transformed into lecture halls and idea workshops: Children can choose from around 80 exciting lectures given by business people from widely diverse sectors.

Hans Staud was taking part for the fifth time as lecturer this year for this successful project - distinctive for him particularly through the lively and very spontaneous exchange between youth and entrepreneurs. He has shared experiences about his business with the children and has answered their questions. With his lecture “How Does the Apricot Hop from the Tree into the Jar?“ Hans could help kids understand the path of fresh produce all the way to finished preserves on the shelf to shape quality consciousness of the “consumers of tomorrow“. Furthermore the businessman wanted to create access to natural authentic food for the participants: “We can´t start early enough with this – the kids should see, smell and taste themselves“, explained Hans Staud.
